Healthy Living & Cleantech Pitch Night Recap

The 2016 Eureeca Pitch Night calendar started off with a bang last week in Dubai with our spring edition, entitled Healthy Living & Cleantech . The event featured pitches from three businesses, either raising or soon to be raising on Eureeca, from a number of promising growth sectors including cleantech, healthcare, corporate wellness, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Following some quality networking time, Eureeca Co-Founder and Co-CEO Chris Thomas opened with a recap of some of the Eureeca highlights from 2015 including our licensing from the FCA and the Securities Commission Malaysia, the Search in MENA exit, and therecord-breaking Homes or Houses campaign. He also touched upon what investors can expect from Eureeca in 2016 including larger raises from a more international selection of companies.

Fresh off a flight from London, Mark Ratnarajah of FindMeHealth, a British business focused on transforming the UK self-pay healthcare industry, kicked things off. FindMeHealth is currently raising on Eureeca.

Up next was Guillaume Mariole from Ignite, an award-winning group of corporate wellness and fitness brands that is well established in Dubai and intent expanding to the wider UAE and beyond. Ignite will soon be available for investment on the platform.

The pitches concluded with Syed Ahmed of SAVORTEX, a UK clean energy manufacturer aiming to revolutionise the commercial hand dryer industry by fusing cleantech, out-of-home advertising, and IoT technologies. SAVORTEX will also soon be available for investment on the platform.

We’ve had a number of great businesses participate in previous Eureeca Pitch Nights, but the consensus is that this was best collection of businesses that we’ve thus far put on display. Certainly a promising indication of where Eureeca is headed in 2016. Stay tuned!
A big thanks to Mark, Guillaume, Syed, and the many engaging investors who braved the Dubai traffic and potential of rain to make the event such a success.Start Crowdinvesting
